Dark Places - Gillian Flynn This took me some time. I did like it, mostly. But it didn't grab me, not in the way Flynn's uncanny first novel had. And while I appreciated so many elements of this novel--its sure hand with a smart plot structure, its dark sense of humor--I kept unfairly (and, alas, to this novel's detriment) recalling Capote's In Cold Blood.
