Move Under Ground - Nick Mamatas Given my long-standing, deeply-held convictions that Jack Kerouac is a painful bore, it's not too weird that a loving recreation of JK's style, even when given a wonderfully weird reframing via Lovecraft, would annoy the crap out of me, too.

This is really well-done. But even if Wilco covered the Grateful Dead, as much as I love Wilco, it'd still sound like the Grateful Dead.

And the Dead suck.

I apologize that this isn't so much a review as a pissy thumbing of my nose. But I do really hate Kerouac. And the Dead. They're clouding my judgment.
